I am trying to install the kflyer or kelegant templates and get the following error:
"ERROR: File template.xml missing in template archive, cannot install this template"
I have tried both the Quickstart and smaller zip files - all with the same error.

I am using version 3.0.6 of Kunena and 3.0.3 of Joomla 3.3.3

gdardick, just been tried to install rnd_kelegant_ver_1.1.0.zip on polygon with J3.3 and Kunena 3.0.6 - all is fine.
So, I suppose the problem is related to permissions. Please, send me access to site back-end and FTP access I'll check issues manually.

I do not think that permissions would be the problem. I just installed templates from www.TemplateKunena.com without a problem.

How do you install the template? Maybe you've tried to install the template via Kunena back-end.

You have to use standard Joomla extension manager to perform this action. So, just install Kunena template as a typical Joomla extension (Extensions > Extension manager) and it should help.
Please let me know about results.

That worked. You might want to update the instructions on your website:
"•Select Template Manager in Components > Kunena Forum"
