Add rank images

I've read this instruction: www.roundtheme.com/docs/item/how-to-replace-rank-icons
So I can replace rank icons, but it is impossible to add new ranks/rank icons as they cannot be selected in backend. This is only possible when addng rank icons in folder media/kunena/ranks
So having a rank folder in template folder is completely useless.

Hi Astrid,
Why is it useless?
RoundTheme template for Kunena comes with predefined rank icons which are part of the design since default Kunena rank icons looks totally outdated. If you want to use custom icons to be added via the back-end, you need to rename/delete the following folder:
\[your_site]\components\com_kunena\template\[RND_template]\media\ranks

Then default Kunena rank icons will be used which can be changed via the back-end.

It is useless if you want to add extra icons, you can add the images to the folder, but they can't be selected in the backend.

But I found a solution by placing them in a custom folder in /media/kunena/ranks/ and using ReReplacer from Regularlabs to point to the custom folder.
