Hi,
As I wrote above, the new template is planned to be released in 2017.
The problem is in new Kunena template structure (Crypsis) which is based on Bootstrap2. So, it's quite hard to produce an universal template that might be compatible to other frameworks (BS3, Uikit, modified BS2).
All layout must be totally rebuild, it's just a HUGE work.
As soon as new template be appeared, we'll make an announce.

Finally, we have started new series of templates for Kunena 5! Please have a look:

More templates will come soon: New series of templates for Kunena 5 is coming!
As concerning Kunena extensions - we shall return to them after releasing scheduled templates.
